Smoke Detection Sensors – Nano technology "iP-213"

SEONICS Nano Sensors are Electro inductive Smoke detection sensors having an ‘Intelligent’ capability to detect and control Fire before its onset. These sensors are very sensitive to nanoparticles, ions and finely dispersed particles of smoke.

"iP-213" Sensor registers microscopic particles / nano-ions of smoke, which appear during heating of combustible materials up to 200° C. Fire alarm is raised well in advance of the onset of Fire.

Sensors are capable of functioning fully autonomously or can be combined into an existing computer network.

Electro-Inductive Fire Detection Sensor "iP-213"

"iP-213" is a Nano-Technology based Electro-Inductive Smoke Detection INTELLIGENT Sensor assisting in early detection and control of fire hazard. The sensor has extremely high sensitivity to nano-particles, ions and fine/dispersed particles of smoke.

It can identify a fire hazard at perhaps the earliest stages possible, being activated in most cases at least 20 minutes before the fire actually starts, and provides unprecedented levels of facilitation for localization, suppression and recovery from the incident while allowing necessary steps to be taken even before the very outbreak of fire.

The open-architecture of the sensor provides easy integration/compatibility with existing command and control instruments while tremendously further improving their effectiveness

The sensor is capable of functioning fully autonomously or cab be combined into a existing local computer network.

The detection-sensor "iP-213" registers microscopic particles/nano-ions of smoke, which are invisible even for optical sensors, and appear during heating of combustible materials up to 200°С and below, significantly lower than their auto-ignition temperatures. This distinctive feature of the electro-induction detection-sensor allows to identify fire-rated dangerous situation at the very earliest stage and to take the needed measurements even before the occurrence of fire!

The most frequent cause of fire is electrical fault/short-circuit or incorrect use of electrical appliances. The very precursor/prelude of fire, which is the heating of nano-particles from wire braid, can only be detected with an extremely sensitive Sensing Element like the one in "iP-213" Intelligent Sensor.

Inside "iP-213" Sensor, air in the controlled room is pumped through the measuring line, which is equipped with charging and measuring chambers. Particles, formed as a result of heating, such as from electrical wiring, create in the charging chamber an electrical charge proportional to their size and concentration. The signal from the measuring chamber is amplified and subjected to further signal processing using INTELLIGENT & Smart Algorithms.

Range of measurement of mass concentration of the sensor iP-213/иП-213 aerosol is from 0.01 mg/m³ up to tens of mg/m³.

Controlled size range of the particles/ions (smoke) for the sensor iP-213 lies in the range from 0.01microns up to tens of microns and more, whereas the optical detectors control the particles with size more than 0.4 microns.
